teamLab Phenomena Timings, Location and Guidelines for Visitors

teamLab Phenomena connects people worldwide to the art of our time. We aspire to be a catalyst for experimentation, learning, and creativity, a gathering place for all, and a home for artists and their ideas.

To create the best experience for all, we kindly ask our visitors to follow these rules, guidelines, and policies for your, other guests and our staff’s safety and enjoyment.

Visiting with children

• Wednesdays and Thursdays are reserved for adults after 6 PM. This means that the last entry for kids is at 4.30 PM. If you’re booking tickets for anyone under the age of 18, please select your time slot accordingly.


• Our water exhibits create an irresistible attraction for our youngest visitors. We highly recommend packing a change of clothes for them. For your convenience, complimentary lockers and changing facilities are available.


• For a smoother experience, please note that strollers are not allowed inside teamLab Phenomena, and storage space is very limited. We recommend leaving strollers in your car or avoiding them if possible.

Darkness and Wayfinding

• As an experiential art museum, teamLab Phenomena offers an immersive experience best enjoyed in the dark. Most venues within the museum are dimly lit to better showcase the artwork. Wandering from room to room and getting lost in this unique world is an important part of the experience.


• To help you move around comfortably, you can download our app for directions. We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing to avoid tripping, and walking at a steady pace at all times. If you are accompanied by small children, hold their hands inside the venues, and ensure that they do not run.

Water Areas

• If you would rather not get any part of your body wet, you can skip the wet areas altogether. If you wear an abaya, these can be held or clipped as preferred. Once you finish the wet areas, you will be provided towels to dry off. You can also carry a change of clothing for children should they require changing. Please note, all the water in the wet areas is rigorously filtered and cleaned for hygiene.

About Tickets and Admission

• Tickets are sold online on our website. Ticket sales at the venue are subject to availability.
  
  
• Children aged 12 and under must always be accompanied by an adult.
  
  
• The resale, exchange, or transfer of tickets or membership benefits is not allowed. teamLab Phenomena will not be held responsible in such cases.
  
  

About Code of Conduct

• Running, rough play, or any sort of disruptive behavior that may pose a risk to other visitors, staff, or artwork is strictly prohibited.
  
  
• Verbal or physical harassment and discriminatory or threatening behavior towards others will not be tolerated.
  
  
• Visitors may not interfere with the experience of others.
  
  

About Photography

• teamLab Phenomena uses video monitoring to preserve the safety of art and the public. For this reason, visitors may be photographed, videotaped or otherwise recorded.
  
  
• By visiting, guests grant teamLab Phenomena permission to use photographs and/or audiovisual recordings they may appear in, for any purpose.
  
  

Prohibited Items and Actions

• Smoking (electronic cigarettes, too) anywhere on teamLab Phenomena premises, including the outdoor Sculpture Garden.
  
  
• For-profit activities such as photography or filming for commercial use without prior consent.
  
  
• Solicitation of any kind without approval.
  
  
• Leafleting, signature gathering, picketing, or press conferences.
  
  
• Playing music or videos, projecting images, or using sound amplification systems and noisemakers (for reasons other than for assistive listening devices) without expressed permission.
  
  

teamLab Phenomena reserves the right to deny or revoke entry to anyone who violates its policies. For everyone’s safety, please follow our staff’s instructions during your visit.
